You should pay the $160 as normal, then at the end of each week before you get paid again, Put the remaining money from your account onto your loan. This way you never get too short of cash.

I'm not quite sure what your question is. The best I can think to tell you to do, is to call your bank and talk to a loan specialist to make sure that you won't have any penalties for paying your loan off early, BEFORE you make extra payments. There are some loans out there that will penalize you for that.

Most car loans don't have a prepayment penalty unless they are leased. You should be able to pay it off entirely at any time and even get a little discount as the interest is based on the total amount of time the loan is financed. Call the lender and they will give you a payoff amount.

How much can you afford?....are you asking how much more you would have to pay in order to pay it off earlier?

If you pay interest on your payments then it wont do any good to pay extra because the extra amount goes to the interest first and that will take almost all of it. you best bet is to just save the money and when you have the balance pay it off, unless you dont pay interest then you can just add extra to it every month or double your payments.
